Every year, as we tour through Egypt, we are overwhelmed by the number of cats and dogs on the streets of Egypt needing help. We’ve regularly made donations, held fundraising events, and even helped rescue and bring back cats and dogs to Canada, to find new loving homes.
Now, Ancient Egypt Alive is proud to announce the creation of our Animal Lifesaver (alt: Egyptian Paws of Hope, Bastet’s Paw Protectors) fund to ensure ongoing support to our favourite animal rescue charities in Egypt. This includes the Cairo-based Touch of Life Animal Sanctuary run by a dedicated lady – Manal – who works tirelessly to save cats, dogs and donkeys from hardship and death.
